Imagine a floor that has been aged and weathered over time with traces of past traffic and peeling paint. Its “marks” are celebrated as part of the history that makes it interesting today. Add to that charm the ease of maintenance and high quality of an Italian inkjet porcelain, and Elios has a line that is sure to get people excited. It is rustic but would look equally appealing in a contemporary environment. There is a lot of variation and tiles must be blended from multiple boxes during installation.
TILESHOP
Founded in 1973, Tileshop has become a California leading tile importer in the ceramic tile industry for over 40 years. Many of our tile lines manufactured abroad are conceived, designed and carried exclusively by us. We have established a direct working relationship with manufacturers which allows us to influence the design of new products in an ongoing effort to supply lines of tiles that reflect the current tile trends and satisfy the demands of architects and designers.

ENVIRONMENT
We selectively import from factories that manufacture under the guidelines for environmental certification and compliance. Tileshop is proud to promote these factories that participate in the Eco-Label, Emas Green Building Italian Council programs. Some products are able to earn LEED MR credits 4.1 and 4.2.

At Tileshop we are committed to our environmental responsibility and have integrated the green philosophy into our work environment. A partial list of our program involvement includes:
• our main buildings in Berkeley have solar panels and generate more electricity than they consume.
• recycling cardboard, paper, plastic materials and wooden pallets
• recycling aluminum cans and glass
• a composting program with the city of Berkeley
