The SCR Series Solvent Recycling Unit, designed for dirty solvent with high solids content, incorporates PRI’s exclusive rotating scraper blade assembly to assure optimum efficiency and consistent clean solvent production throughout the recycling process.  alt
The SCR solvent recovery units are elevated, with a cone shaped bottom facilitating sludge discharge into a 55 gallon drum for easy disposal. All models are constructed for Class I, Division 1, Group D environments using a combination of intrinsically safe sensors and explosion-proof electrical components. Units are available with an electrically heated oil jacket or an ASME steam-heated jacket. Each system is manufactured to comply with NFPA and NEC codes applicable to the vessel and installation. A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) monitors the unit’s operation, and our exclusive Process Performance Control (PPC) software package provides maximum throughput and solvent recovery while minimizing wastes to be disposed of.

All systems are available with a wide range of options to suit specific application needs. Vacuum or atmospheric distillation systems, solvent storage tanks, pumps, automated control systems and Nitrocellulose safety packages are just a few of the available options.

With operating capacities to 800 gallons and recovery rates up to 140 GPH, the SCR Series is designed for broad applications across a variety of markets, including aerospace, paint and coatings, printing, converting, manufacturing and automotive.
PRI has been designing and manufacturing fluid process systems since 1983. We specialize in systems processing hazardous materials in classified locations.

Our areas of expertise include:

DISTILLATION

PRI manufactures a wide range of products for general, ultra high purity, and other specific applications.

WASHING

Our enclosed parts washers are designed for large, hard to clean parts. Whether you want to wash with flammable solvents, non-flammable solvents or with water, we can create a wash system to meet your needs.

PROCESS SOLUTIONS

Engineering and manufacturing of custom industrial liquid processing systems to meet specific customer requirements.

INTEGRATED SYSTEMS

Contract manufacturing and fabrication of skid and modular systems per client specifications.
